Virtual Event

On Monday, November 27 at 1:00pm (ET), please join the Atlantic Council’s Indo-Pacific Security Initiative, housed in the Scowcroft Center for Strategy and Security, for a conversation with Ambassador Bonnie Jenkins, US Under Secretary of State for Arms Control and International Security. This conversation with Ambassador Jenkins will focus on the trilateral security partnership between Australia, the United Kingdom, and the United States (AUKUS).

Secretary of State Antony Blinken named Ambassador Jenkins as the senior official to lead the State Department’s efforts on implementation of AUKUS. While top leaders in Australia, the United Kingdom, and the United States have established a shared vision for the AUKUS partnership, much remains to be done to realize this vision. During this hybrid event, Ambassador Jenkins will share her insights on the implementation of AUKUS, its role in US national security, and how it fits into the non-proliferation regime.
