Critical minerals, including rare earth elements are fundamental components to many emerging and important United States industries, including defense, renewable energies, electric vehicles, medical equipment, and consumer goods. The U.S. previously was a world leader in the production and processing of certain critical minerals though today it is extremely reliant upon other countries for its supply. This webinar will look at how both the demand and supply have quickly evolved and how new policies are necessary to facilitate increased domestic development and new sources around the globe.
