The Latin American Council of Social Sciences CLACSO , through its Working Group "Afro descendants and Counter hegemonic Proposals" , the University Program of Studies of Cultural Diversity and Interculturality PUIC of the UNAM and University of the African Diaspora UDA summon the International Convention: "25 Years After Durban" . The Convention pays tribute to the World Conference against Racism, Racial Discrimination, Xenophobia and Related Forms of Intolerance , held in Durban South Africa in 2001. That conference constituted one of the strongest frameworks for the fight against racism at a global level.
