Virtual Event

Join New America’s New Models of Policy Change Initiative and Bridging the Gap for the first event in a series of conversations about new research in national security and foreign policy. We aim to bridge the gap between academics and practitioners by bringing you discussions that dig into both the substance and policy implications of cutting-edge research.
Our first event features Dr. Anjali K. Dayal. She and International Crisis Group’s Ashish Pradhan will discuss her new book, Incredible Commitments: How UN Peacekeeping Failures Shape Peace Processes, which asks why warring parties turn to UN peacekeeping and peacemaking, even when they have little faith in peacekeepers’ ability to uphold peace agreements. The answers will have significant implications for practitioners and scholars alike.
Follow the conversation online with @PolReformNA and @BtGProjectDC.
