The Politics of Personality and System-Change in the Age of Trump.

Rich Rubenstein will talk about his new book, Resolving Structural Conflicts: How Violent Systems Can Be Transformed. The book addresses the question of whether our socioeconomic system generates violence and, if so, what can be done about it. How can we think creatively about our nation's underlying social problems in the Age of Trump and personality politics? What kind of politics now makes the most sense?
Rubenstein is Professor of Conflict Resolution and Public Affairs at the School for Conflict Analysis and Resolution, George Mason University, and the author of nine books on political and religious violence. Come and participate in a lively discussion!
