The Everywhere Millionaire: Who the Rich Are & What It Means for Economic Policy
Drawing on a decade of research with administrative tax data and their new book, Owen Zidar, Professor of Economics and Public Affairs at Princeton University, and Eric Zwick, Joel F. Gemunder Professor of Economics and Finance at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, will discuss how private business ownership drives top incomes and why that matters for debates over taxes, inequality, and economic opportunity. The discussion will be moderated by M-RCBG Director Jason Furman.
We will also be giving away copies of Zidar and Zwick's new book The Everywhere Millionaire: Who the Rich Really Are, and What It Means for Economic Policy to five in-person attendees.
This seminar discussion will take place in Malkin Penthouse for those with an HUID who wish to attend in person. Others may join us remotely via Zoom. Lunch will be served.
