To mark the publication of KEI’s 32nd volume of the Joint U.S.-Korea Academic Studies, please join us for a discussion on the three distinct approaches to understanding how the COVID-19 pandemic affected the rivalry between the United States and China.
Dr. Gil Rozman, Editor-in-Chief of the Joint U.S.-Korea Academic Studies series, will be joined by authors from this year’s volume. Dr. Jacques deLisle will address whether the pandemic has been a geopolitical gamechanger; Dr. Danielle Cohen will examine if the public health crisis deepened the national identity clash between the United States and China; and KEI’s Troy Stangarone will explore COVID-19’s role in shifting supply chains.
We hope this timely discussion and the accompanying publication will bolster ongoing conversations on the evolving geopolitical environment in the Indo-Pacific.
