Selected applicants will make their pitch for innovative policy ideas to meet new challenges in U.S. national security policy in front of a distinguished panel of judges and a live virtual audience on Wednesday, April 24.There will be interactive polling and the audience will able to vote for their favorite pitch to win the people’s choice award. Finalists from each category and the winner of the people’s choice award move on to compete in person at the grand finale during the <a target="_blank" href="https://www.cnas.org/events/cnas-2024-national-security-conference-high-stakes">CNAS 2024 National Security Conference: High Stakes</a>.

CNAS is located in Washington, and was established in February 2007 by co-founders Kurt M. Campbell and Michèle A. Flournoy. CNAS is a 501(c)3 tax-exempt nonprofit organization. Its research is independent and non-partisan. CNAS does not take institutional positions on policy issues. CNAS is led by its Chief Executive Officer Nathaniel Fick.
