To celebrate June as Caribbean American Heritage Month, TransAfrica and BloomBars present Frantz Fanon: His Life, His Struggle, His Work, by Cheikh Djemai (2001, 52 min, French and Arabic with English subtitles).&nbsp; Frantz Fanon: His Life, His Struggle, His Work traces the short and intense life of Frantz Fanon, a Martinique-born French psychiatrist, philosopher, writer and revolutionary, who was one of the great thinkers of the 20th century. &nbsp;Fanon&#39;s writings had a profound impact on civil rights, anti-colonialism, and black consciousness movements around the world.
