Virtual Event

This session, “U.S. Complicity in Israel’s Crimes” is part of the July, Tuesday series by the Coalition to Support Palestinian Liberation. Which includes New Jersey Peace Action and the NJ Poor People’s Campaign.

Speakers for this session will be focusing on the extraordinary shifts in public and media discourse on Palestinian rights and the US relationship to Israel that have emerged in recent years, in particular the shifts during the spring’s crisis in the region including the 11-day Israeli assault on Gaza. The question then emerges of what it will take to turn that public discourse shift into real policy change towards a foreign policy rooted in human rights, international law and equality for all, and what our movement needs to do.

Speakers:

  • Phyllis Bennis,
  • Raed Jarrar
  • James Zogby

Moderator: Jeff Hoey, New Jersey Peace Action

Register here. All sessions are at 7 p.m. EDT
