On April 26, U.S. President Joe Biden will welcome South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol to Washington for a state visit. Over the past 70 years, the U.S.-Korea relationship has evolved from a military alliance to a wide-ranging partnership, still focused on peace and stability on the Korean Peninsula, but now also encompassing trade, health, global development, climate change, global geopolitics, and technology. The two presidents are likely to discuss North Korea, extended deterrence, dynamics within the Indo-Pacific region, economic security, semiconductors, clean technology, and space cooperation.

Please join our livestream as the KEI team discusses the outcome of the Biden-Yoon summit and what it signifies for the future of the US-South Korea relationship.

This event will be livestreamed only.
